  • Prime Minister announces the restart of central executive authorities and offers this autumn to invite a thousand young specialists to join Government

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is planning to launch reloading of executive authorities, hence he offers this fall already to conduct personnel competitions and to encourage a thousand young professionals to work in the Government. He announced in the communication with students of National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" on Thursday.

    "We are starting now - I think the following week me and my colleagues will discuss that - we will table a proposal to launch a reboot of the system of central executive bodies, to reload ministries, to invite to the Government - and we have the resource for that, in particular funding of our European partners - I want to bring to the Government 1 thousand new agents for change. And who are these people? It is you - the people who will be highly qualified specialists, who will desire change", said the Head Government in his address to the students.

    He added that by combining the funding of the European Union and the State budget labor of new employees would be decently paid.

    "A thousand young people - we think this autumn through open competitions - will be able to join the Government, ministries, and become the agents for change our country badly needs", said the Prime Minister.

    Volodymyr Groysman told that inter alia it was planned to introduce within each Ministry the strategic planning departments designed not just to develop daily agenda but to schedule for the longer run.

    Volodymyr Groysman emphasized that the restart of the system of government is among the topmost objectives, as it will allow the country to overcome the institutional weakness, to introduce the best international governance standards and to improve efficiency of decision-making process.
