  • Battalion Leaders assemble for LITPOLUKRBRIG Commanders Conference

    Third Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade Commanding Officers’ Conference, held in Lublin, gathered leadership representatives of 18 affiliated units from three contributing countries in LITPOLUKRBRIG Command to discuss certification details and related operational requirements on 26 October 2016.

    The Conference began with welcoming the participants by Colonel Zenon Brzuszko, the Brigade Commander, his Deputy Colonel Volodymyr Yudanov and Chief of Staff Lieutenant Colonel Eligijus Senulis. Key LITPOLUKRBRIG leaders introduced the Command, main tasks and training activities accomplished and planned to be fulfilled in the near future.

    “First and foremost, here we have units’ commanders from the three partnering countries in one room, executing LITPOLUKRBRIG tasks and sharing the common goal: being ‘United for Peace’. Also, it should be mentioned that we organize Commanding Officers’ Conference to foster mutual trust, exercise leadership and demonstrate to the subordinates that the staff officers are well prepared and ready to lead over 4000 of affiliated soldiers during a wide range of operations,” stated Colonel Zenon Brzuszko.

    Throughout the event the commanders of the affiliated units introduced their units, available capabilities and their role in supporting Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian Brigade.
