The Defense Ministry's fact-finding commission have arrived at a preliminary conclusion that there is nothing that could point to the Central Naval Hospital's alleged attempts to conceal some lethal cases, Col of Medical Service Nikolai Rubtsov, the Defense Ministry's Chief Surgeon, who led the fact-finding commission, told journalists in Sevastopol. As he said, the commission checked into all the lethal cases and found nothing that could point to the physicians' errors or negligence.

Commenting on the allegations, which were aired by Lt Col of Medical Service Vasili Tarkovsky last Wednesday, Nikolai Rubtsov said these had obviously proceeded from appraisals that had been offered by medical experts, who are not quite well-versed in their profession.
