Government decided to establish a Coordination Centre for innovation cooperation of the CIS countries

The government adopted a decree on April 29, 2013 № 326 «On establishment of the coordination centre for the implementation of the Interstate program of innovation cooperation of the States - participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the period up to 2020». The corresponding program was adopted on October 18, 2011 at the meeting of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (St. Petersburg).

The Coordinating Center will chair a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, who runs for culture, education, science, youth, sports and health.

According to the decree, the Coordination centre is an interim subsidiary body established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a view to facilitating the implementation of the Interstate program of innovation cooperation of the States - participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the period up to 2020, ensure coordination of activity of Central bodies of Executive power in the part of the fulfillment by Ukraine of tasks and activities contained in the Programme.
